The mountain has a lot to say.
I'll help you listen to it.
You leave with more than just tired legs. An image, a scent, a conversation with the landscape. Something that stays with you.
My Approach
No stopwatch, no peaks to check off.
I’ll guide you at your own pace, paying close attention to what the mountains reveal—the geology, the wildlife, the flora, and the history of the landscape.
Detours and breaks aren't accidents; they're at the heart of my approach to guiding.
The mountain is a partner, not a conquest.
My role is to create the conditions that will allow you to hear it.
My Journey
A creative designer and storyteller by training, a teacher by passion, a traveler by nature, and a mountain guide by vocation.
I traveled the world, from the Andes to the Himalayas, before realizing that my second homes were right here, in the Swiss Alps and Pre-Alps.
This perspective as both a designer and a storyteller—honed through MGDH, my independent design studio, and Chatty Elephant, a startup dedicated to the art of storytelling—is something I also bring to the mountains: in the way I craft an experience, interpret a landscape, and tell the story of a place.
I am a member ofASAM and am currently pursuing advanced training toward the federal mountain guide certification atASGM; I have already completed several modules.
What I Am Not
I'm not a personal trainer.
I do not lead endurance races, high-altitude challenges, or performance programs.
Grand Hiker isn't for those looking to push their physical limits; it's for those looking to have an experience.
